We took the boat out a couple of weeks ago with the girls and they had a blast...We can't wait for the crappy weather to clear out so we can go for a long weekend!!!

My neighbor Kylee and I got carried away making hair bows for our girls, so we decided to have a bow party. We also do vinyl stickers, so we thought it would be fun to combine them!

Taylor Swift!!!

Taige is the biggest Taylor Swift fan ever!!! She knows all of the words and goes nuts when ever she hears one of her songs...She wants to be just like her!!! She won't even let me cut her hair because she "wants it long just like Taylor Swiffs"... So I thought what better than to take her to her concert!!! It was a blast she is an awesome entertainer...Taige absolutley loved it...It is such a great feeling to see that look on their face when they are just so excited about something!!!

My little girl could not have picked a better role model!!!

I have been told several times that I am slacking big time... FYI there will be no pics at the moment let me just say I hate mac computers for how much you spend they sure do have a lot of problems...and I think it is finally to the point of crashing for good...so I got a new computer last weekend and am in the process of transfering all of my 5194 pics over (HOLY!!! I never reliezed how many I had but I love it, looking back at them all was so fun but made me a little sad at the same time that my babes are growing so so so fast!!!)

Life has been crazy but good, I am finally getting the house unpacked and organized YEAH!!!

Tessa turned 1 a couple of weeks ago and Shane has been bugging me constantly about getting rid of all the baby clothes I really wanted to cut them up and make quilts out of them (more for me and the sake of keeping every memory I could of the girls being that little) BUT Shane wasn't having it...So the only person I knew that was having a girl was my friend Stacie, so I dropped off 2 boxes full of baby girls clothes...and cried all the way home it was a huge step for me to give it up and come to reality NO MORE BABIES :( (can I say that has to be one of the hardest things for a mom to do...at least it was for me!!!)

On to happier things Tessa started walking last weekend Shane and I went on a date Friday night (Sushi MMM!!!) anyway my mom was watching the girls and we get a phone call at the end of dinner saying she is walking everywhere so we gave up shopping :( and went to see...They were right she was walking EVERYWHERE and perfectly too not wobbly at all!!! So we take her home and the next day try and get her to walk... WON'T DO IT... stubborn little girl...She will only walk at my mom's house...We are working on it hopefully soon I will have pics to put up!!!

I Have a Dilemma!!!

So we have a problem Taige wont' sleep in her own bed she wakes up in the middle of the night and comes to our bed...Not to mention she toss' and turns all night long and keeps us up...I love her but she really needs to sleep in her own bed...We are up enough with Tess as it is... So if anyone has any advice on either kid that would be great... I need a good nights rest

Picture Fest '08'

We had a fun filled Saturday... This afternoon we met up with my Mike, Caitlin, and the boys at Fat Cats we had some pizza while we bowled and played a few arcade games... We had never been there before and we had a blast...

Trae beat everyone with a whopping 99
(which doesn't say much for Mike who is on a bowling team)

Then we came home and I finally got all my decorations out and started decorating the house after being in it for 6 months... Then we made some lasagna for dinner and Tess loved it... There is nothing in the world she likes more than food... And she has to do it all her self she won't let anyone feed her...so you can imagine the mess she is after every meal!!!

So she gets her little mini bath in the sink (the thing she likes second most WATER!!!)
This girl would take 10 baths a day if she could...

After dinner Shane looked at the pictures we took today and started bugging me that I only take pictures of the kids and insisted on me taking a few of him...This is what happens if you point a camera at Shane (FYI its not pretty!!!)

His girly side comes out!!!

It is Shane's 23rd birthday and I just wanted him to know how much I love and appreciate him... He is the best husband, dad and friend I could ask for... We have a nice day planned he is taking off work and we are all spending the day together then having a yummy sushi dinner at Tona on 25th... It's not a real big day because he got a pretty big present instead!!! We love ya BABE hope you have a great day!!!

I think everyone I know in the entire world has gotten the flu in the last couple of months except our little family... When Taige got it last week I knew I was in for it, so sure enough I woke up this morning super sick at least it wasn't on Thankgiving!!! Even though I was sick we still managed to go into town and finish up a few of the small things we had left for Christmas... Cross your fingers for Shane and Tess they are the only ones in the entire family that hasn't gotten it yet let's hope it stays that way!!!

We had a great Thanksgiving we went over to my parents this morning and ate with them at noon and then came home and Shanes family came over and we ate again 4 hours later...I don't think I will eat for the rest of the year!!!

Tess also got some Christmas early she has been pushing the garbage can around and trying to walk with everything so we decided this present was a must have NOW!!!

She loves it she has been walking around the house all day... At this rate she will be walking on her own in no time...

Hope everyones day was as fun and relaxing as ours was!!!

Family Date Night!!!

A couple of weeks ago we took the girls to Disney on Ice... Taige saw the commercial for it on TV and I thought she was going to have a seizure she got so excited, so we had to get tickets!!! We also have been meaning to take the train down to Salt Lake so we figured it would make a perfect day to do it all together...

A few tips to the train ride with kids:
1. Pack snacks and activities!!! (it takes 2 hours to get to SL with all the stops it sounds like a long time but it was a fun change from the normal drive)
2.Take a potty break before you get on the train or get on the South car (it is the only one with a bathroom we learned the hard way we searched for a bathroom forever before we figured it out)
3.The train is better in the warmer months with little kids... there is some waiting which means you freeze your butt off

We will definately do it again just a little differently next time!!!

Sick Sick and more Sick!!!

I feel like the doctors office has become a second home lately...Our poor little Tess just hasn't been feeling herself the last week or two so we decided to take her in and get her checked out... she has been tugging on her ears, slobbering and chewing on everything like crazy, not to mention a few other things that I'm just NOT going to mention ;) We will just say YUCK!!! So teething right? They are all the same symptoms Taige had when she was teething but we figured better safe than sorry!!! So Yesterday we loaded up and went to the doctor...we had an appointment at 10:20 and got back in to the room at 10:40 (not bad) We sat in the room forever... finally the doctor came in 11:45 (it was ridiculous) one those rooms are so dirty...two HELLO we have a sick baby... and three a big sister who is going to be the death of mebouncing off the walls and screaming!!! (whoever said terrible 2's obviously never had a 3 year old girl) I love her to death I just hope this stage passes quick!!! The doctor does the check up... checks her ears for infection (neg.) listens to her breathing for a problem (neg.) Then checks the mouth (BINGO!!) but not teething he let me look and her throat was so red and swollen it made mine hurt... I felt so bad for her so he did a Strep test but that came back neg. so the prognossis TONSILITIS!!! He gave us a perscription and told us to give her soft cold things that will go down easy and not irritate it anymore so

jell-o and pudding it is...

Lots of rest!!!

And we should have our happy girl back in no time!!!

We just moved into a new house and we absolutely love the subdivision we live in, there are kids everywhere... So it makes it ideal considering Taige is obsessed with friends. So on Halloween we got a bunch of the friends together and let them all go trick-or-treating together they had a blast and so did all the parents we all get along so great so I will say it again we love our neighbors and could not have chosen a better place to live!!!

Taige was Tinkerbell and Tess was a bumblebee...

So what is better than to start a blog than with some family pics. We went out with Brody (the best photographer ever) I used to work for him, so he let me know they were doing this thing called a portrait party where they shoot like ten families in one day and the best part is that the sitting fee is only $45 bucks (normal is only $150 which still is a killer deal considering how good he is and you would spend that much at kiddie kadids and it is no comparison) So if you want to check him out here is his blog:
